Charles Leadbeater has coined the term 'we-think'; he states that the world is changing because of Web 2.0 and 'creative collaboration' between Internet users. Creative collaboration and we-think is when ideas are shared and discussed online. Users share their ideas and creative projects for recognition rather than for money.
Example of 'creative collaboration' and we-think:
  1. Second Life;
  2. Wikipedia;
  3. Linux software;
  4. Linux games - http://www.linux.org/apps/all/Entertainment/3D_Games.html
  5. World of Warcraft - http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/community/stories/stories.xml
  6. You Tube;
  7. Vimeo

Charles Leadbeater's ideas are changing the video games industry. The audience for video games, especially the core gamers, are sharing ideas, cheats and releasing 'patches' online that alter or remix the gaming experience.

The gaming industry are actively trying to foster and encourage user-generated ideas as this helps them to develop their games.

Charles Leadbeater's ideas about we-think and creative collaboration are revolutionising the video games industry and the wider media landscape.
